Blog #2 Slaughtering Animals

  1. In this blog I will write about slaughtering animals. In the video I just now viewed was very brutal and very heart broken, because of how the workers in the factories or farms torture their animals. And the way they do it is in way you don't want to be a meat eater any more. You just want to eat vegetables for the rest of your life. For example, the way they kill the chickens they slice their necks with a blade that haves their blood spilled all over the place, also have their necks broken, go through machines that makes them paralyzed, but not conscious, and they even go through getting knocked in the head with a hammer. They even have it where male chicks are killed in a grinding machine, while they are still alive. And another method is they have the male chicks suffocate in a plastic garbage bag.Now for the female chicks they go through with cutting parts of their beaks with a hot blade, and they would have them in small cages where they would spend the rest their lives in.
  2. Farmers will have it where the young cows go through mutilation, cut off their tails, sent away from their mothers to be transported to slaughter houses. This be happening to them in the most unsanitary diseased factories that they are being slaughtered at. The sickly cows just lye around in their misery without any care in the world. Workers also slice their throat while they are still alive. This kind of cruelty isn't called for, but in order for us to survive we got do what we got to do to feast on the animals.
  3. For the pigs that are pregnant they are in narrow cages that are not their size, so it is very uncomfortable for them. They can hardly move around anywhere. Workers take the mother pig's babies and cuts out their testicles, slice their tails off, knocks their heads to the ground when they don't grow quickly enough or when they are sick. All society should make a change for the animals sake to eat more healthy and to let the animals live a better life. In order for us to help the needs of the animals we have to put in better care.
